Idlewild

There is a small amusement park here that designed for little kids, called Idlewild. We had some friends with season passes and on Mondays they can bring friends for free - so my mom and I went along for a fun day for the kiddos.

After an hour and a half in the car on windy & hilly Pennsylvania roads, Tolan puked as soon as we pulled into a parking spot. Off to a great start - so after a little clean-up we hit the park!
They liked the train the most in Storybook Forest
Logan tried the bumper cars. It took a minute but he kind of got the hang of it. He really liked it and Tolan was mad that he didn't get to do it too.
So we made sure the next ride was something Tolan could participate in.
Tolan thought the rides were GREAT and screamed and cried every time their turn was over
Luckily there was no line at the motorcycles so they got to ride 3 or 4 times and one of each color.
We spent at least half of the day in the waterpark area. We got to this huge set up with all kinds of things going on and both of the boys just took off at once. I caught up to Tolan but couldn't get to Logan too. So I kept looking and looking for Logan and after a couple of minutes I saw him sitting, crying, at the bottom of this huge waterslide. Apparently he had climbed to the top and gone down all by himself! I guess he didn't know what he was really getting into!
Logan told me all day that he wanted to go on the rollercoaster. After we were done in the water, he still insisted that he wanted to go. He was tall enough, so I took him. It wasn't a big rollercoaster or anything, but he's 3. So again, I don't think he really knew what he was getting into. He did alright on the first drop but then it kept going and whipping us around bends and up and down hills. I think he was scared, but when we got off he said it was "awesome!" We checked out the picture they take of you and according to his face it didn't look like he was having such an awesome time!
After that he rode the whip with my mom and then it was time to go home!

FuN DaY!
