We Made It!

It's been a stressful last few months, but we made it here to Pennsylvania. Moving is so much work and stress. I told Justin we are never moving again unless the company pays for it - which means movers do all the work. But I want to thank all the MANY people who offered to help me pack, watch the kids, bring us a meal, or came (or sent her husband) to load up the truck on moving day and unload it into the storage unit here. We could not have done it without all the help! Thank you, thank you!

We are settled in at my parents' house for now, until the house sells. We had some people looking and we were in their top 3 choices, but we haven't heard anything since then, so I'm guessing they went with another house. Oh well, we have seen so many blessings and little coincidences and random little things happen and fall into place for this whole process to work out, and I continue to have faith that the last pieces will fall into place and our house will sell.

Until then, here are some pictures of what the boys have been up to in our first 2 weeks in PA!

Tolan has had a great time exploring the whole new world of my parents' house and getting into everything. This time it was Grandpa's closet and his boots. Logan had to try the boots too, but his favorite is Grandma's hockey helmet!

The yard is big, so they've been putting the miles on the Jeep going all over the place.

And then there's Chico. I was trying to get a picture to show how big he is compared to the boys, but no one would hold still long enough. Tolan is pretty fearless about Chico, and Logan is warming up to him. Hopefully Chico is warming up to us too - we have disrupted the peace and quiet of an empty house.Chico figured out really fast that the boys are messy with their food and to stay close-by for whatever falls on the floor. Tolan is guarding his cookie well in the picture below.

One of Justin's cousins graduated from high school this year, so we went down to his aunt's for the graduation party and the boys had a very exciting day. Here they are in the Rhino down by the pond. There were also lots of 4-wheelers, dirtbikes and a couple of golf carts, all of which two little boys think are the coolest things in the world!Grandpa Shook had his motorcycle there so they got to sit on it and wear the helmet.
Logan actually did get to go for a little (slow) ride around the yard with Grandpa.
They had to take a break for some cake and juice.
Then out to the see-saw

Tolan loved the see-saw - he laughed and squealed "weee! wee!" the whole time.

Unfortunately we did end the day of fun with a bump on the head and a scrape on the knee when Tolan tripped and fell on the sidewalk. But he was okay and had a great nap on the drive home!
